WoodWorks wouldn't be complete without Barry Goodman and Graeme Meek bringing Bedfordshire history to life by uncovering long forgotten local songs - and writing their own, celebrating landmarks and events in Bedfordshire life. Building on the popularity of Doudoumbe's "drum-a-long-a-Chris" sessions, Boka Halat (whose name means mutual inspiration in the Wolof language of Gambia (Senegal) present a unique opportunity to learn something about the meeting points between English, African and indian music and dance traditions.
